Hey what's up you guys?! It's Premiere
Gal here and welcome to part two
of my series on Digital Anarchy's
transcriptive plugin for
Premiere Pro. In this video
I'm going to show you how you can
utilize all of the tools in
Transcriptive to help you edit
faster.
So in the previous video I showed
you how you can use the tool to
auto transcribe So if you haven't
watched that yet I encourage you
to watch that first.
Also I want to let you know if
you're watching this you can just
e-mail [email protected]
and get a two week free trial
with no limitations.
So let's go ahead and dive into
Premiere Pro and I'm going to show you how
you can speed up your workflow.
Right now I have the Transcriptive
panel open in Premiere Pro
Currently it has the transcript
from a video interview in my
sequence.
The best part about Transcriptive
is that I can search for any key
word in the panel and when you
click on that word the current
time indicator in the sequence,
also known as the CTI, will move
to that time code where the
keyword is located.
This makes it super easy for you
to identify moments or sound
bites in your video interview
that you want to include in your
rough cut.
So then in the sequence I can
then cut that portion of the
sound bite and hit command+U
to make it a sub clip.
In my project panel.
So this is a great way to get
started on your rough cut. If you
would prefer
you can also export the
transcript as markers to your
sequence.
Then you can choose the sequence
markers option and indicate if
you want the speakers exported or
not.
You can also update the interval
spacing between the markers and
then you can hit export then the
markers will appear along your
sequence in the time ruler.
You can then open up the markers
panel to search for any keywords
that way.
I prefer just exporting the
transcript as markers on my
sequence so that we I can
continue to transcribe other
interviews while I search for
sound bites and sub-clip them
for my rough cut.
Overall having access to the
transcript and time codes in
Premiere Pro makes it super easy
and fast for you to search for
those beautiful sound bites in
Premiere Pro.
So thats all for part two of this
Transcriptive video series.
In the next and last video I'm going
to show you how you can leverage
Transcriptive to actually improve
the SEO of your videos online and
even boost your views.
So if this video helped you out?
Give it a thumbs up if you have
any questions at all about
Transcriptive
