The fuck happened to my front wheel?
Let's see if we can find some answers.. I
was in St. Petersburg
this weekend, and some neighborhood kids set up some little skateboard ramps
I was trying 360's on them and as it got
darker out things did get a little sketchy.
think it was right here that I took a
hard landing and...
Yep, case closed. I think this is it.
So now I'm left with this shit.
If you follow my other videos, you've seen my zip tie hack.
Basically you put zip ties in either side of your fork or chainstay and use them like the pins on a truing stand.
You tighten the spokes on the opposite side of the bend to pull the wheel straight.
Like I stated in that video, you can't
always get the wheel perfect because
it's sometimes just too bent.
This would be one of those cases. For the
record I did get the wheel pretty damned straight,
and I really can't complain, as I've had these wheels for
about a year and a half,
and just about every day I give them hell, so for that reason I'm just going to order
the same exact one
and try to be kinder to it.
If you're interested in getting the same
set of wheels are you want to see more
about the zip tie hack,
check the description for links
