a strange thing happened during the
process of the vote for TIME's Person of
the Year the vote rate of BTS which was
95 percent dropped suddenly what
happened many fans thought bts's
anti-fans intervened and voting and
attacked him not to win the awards but
there was other reason why BTS is vote
rate dropped all of the sudden while BTS
be able to win Person of the Year awards
let's check it out together
since 1927 time is selected and awarded
Person of the Year for the most
influential figure in the world that
year regardless of field last year BTS
took the first place in votes and was
honored to mark the cover of Time
magazine
at last Saudi Arabian dissident Jamal
keshavjee and journalists who took risks
for the truth were selected as figures
of last year voting is going on again
this year on the time magazine's
homepage BTS has become a world star by
successfully completing a year and a two
months of world war and recently held a
concert in Saudi Arabia and received a
lot of applause they excelled in the
Billboard charts and are expanding their
musical reach by collaborating with
global pop stars the turnout was very
high as BTS is leading the global
syndrome by the November 17th
BTS was ahead of many figures record in
95 percent of yes but late the night
something strange happened the BTS
yes rate began to drop sharply armies
and many other netizens were suspicious
they guessed that the site was down or
thought it was an attack by an anti
group in this situation there was a
prominent candidate the yes of Hong Kong
protesters suddenly increased in numbers
everyone was surprised and bewildered at
that point but the reason was revealed
through Twitter the Hong Kong people
began to move around the world to
publicize the Hong Kong protesters that
began with the extradition law against
China they thought that if the Hong Kong
demonstrators were chosen for Time
Magazine's 2019 percent of the year they
would receive more attention and have a
favorable outcome for Hong Kong in
particular Hong Kong armies are asking
votes for Hong Kong demonstrators
instead of BTS this movement caused
bts's turnout to draw to 10% in fact the
top turnout doesn't necessarily mean you
are selected for this year's prize but
armies who had recently seen bad results
at the several words including Grammys
and the People's Choice Awards were
surprised at the unexpected results not
only the current BTS but also other
stars
yes ratios have clearly fallen
Hong Kong protesters and supporters our
story for this and fans reactions are
mixed there were some positive responses
I support the protesters BTS and the
fans will understand this social
phenomenon but there were also negative
responses such as I understand them but
I'm afraid it will hurt BTS again and
it's not right for Hong Kong protesters
to monopolize the votes controversy
still exists over Time magazine voting
many people wonder who will win this
year's award the value of BTS has
already been proven worldwide in
yesterday's American Music Awards BTS
won the prize in three categories it's
great to gain popularity and win many
awards but rather than being obsessed
too much to each a word I think it's a
mature fan culture that can yield with
interest social issues it can be the
best role of celebrities to exercise
positive social influence beyond just a
single award or a song no matter who
wins the award
I hope this ends up peacefully and be a
meaningful ceremony
