I was very surprised to see the reaction
of our last JYP trainee video I didn't
know that so many people from abroad are
dreaming of becoming k-pop trainees I
was so touched by the comments that some
were able to keep their dreams alive
after watching my video also there were
a lot of questions about applications
and process I'll try my best to answer
all of them and help you get closer to
your dream today we're gonna take a look
at YG Entertainment although there's a
mess in the company due to the problems
with former CEO and few artists yg is

invest aggressively in overseas markets
we could easily find YG trainees and a

touring Korean cities for public

since there are no field auditions large

filled through email auditions to make

agencies auditions is that appearance

they recruit trainees but by looking at

seem to value the appearance of trainees
a lot one difference is that yg prefers
trainees who can show individuality to
just overall pretty lips let's find out
more specifically how to apply first
vocal and rap take a vocal rap video
coming out your front face at bright
place with first verse of your chosen
song it has to be less than a minute and
30 seconds for dance you have to take a
dance video coming out your whole body

look like next appearance take a
self-introduction video coming out your
front face at the right place it also

seconds all applicants should include a

capture all the skills and abilities you
have even if you attend on field
auditions you're given time will be

Academy yg offers opportunities for
those who continue to apply for

training in the academy doesn't last

joined a trainee preparation team not

minimum of three months up to six months

have to compete with others a lot
tougher you can become famous after
appearing in a broadcast edition and you
may be given a chance to debut
immediately with the contract winners

Korean can be a huge advantage if you
become a trainee you will spend all your
education and schedules with Korean
trainers and colleagues but if you don't
speak any Korean at all you will have

when she was a trainee the phasic
communication with her members and
trainers were the most difficult part

and one of the most asked question was
whether the agency would pay for a plane
ticket or extra fees for the trainee to
answer this question of course they do
the agency invests in the talent of
trainees if the company thinks that you
have enough ability and talent to be
their trainee they will pay for the full
price of your plane ticket to Korea and
all the expenses being a trainee is also
a contract so of course financial
support is backed up according to yg

entertainment companies are investing in
the talent of trainees not like the
Academy where they get paid to educate
trainees the company trainees and the
academy students are of course totally
different
